Est. 2014 — Atlanta, GA

Built from a Garage. Forged by the Brotherhood.

Mygigaload isn't a chain, a franchise, or a polished machine. It's a 14,000 sq ft warehouse of iron, sweat, and accountability — founded by lifters who were tired of gyms that treated you like a number on a monthly bill.

Our Origin

It started with a squat rack, a 45-lb plate, and a promise.

In 2013, co-founders Marcus "Reaper" Velez and Devon Akande were training together in a two-car garage off Edgewood Ave. They were chasing a different kind of strength — the kind that comes from rebuilding yourself, rep by rep. Their garage couldn't hold the crew showing up at 5 AM, so they signed a lease on a 3,000 sq ft warehouse with a leaking roof and one functioning squat rack.

A decade later, Mygigaload occupies 14,000 square feet of raw training space. We've outfitted every rack, welded every platform, and programmed every session with one rule: if it doesn't make you better, it doesn't belong here. We don't sell memberships — we hand out keys to a brotherhood.

Mission & Values

Three things we refuse to compromise on.

Every decision — from equipment to hiring coaches to the music on the floor — gets filtered through these three pillars. They are not slogans. They are rules.

Earned, Never Given

There are no shortcuts inside these walls. Every PR is earned through consistency, every result is built across months of work. We don't sell transformation in 21 days — we sell it across the rest of your life.

Brotherhood Over Bodybuilding

You don't train alone here. Our members spot each other, celebrate each other's wins, and show up at 5 AM because they know someone's waiting for them. The community is the program.

Coached, Not Crowdfunded

Every program is written by a credentialed coach. Every member gets an intake, a movement screen, and a personalized progression path. We don't throw you in the deep end — we hand you a map.

Coaching Philosophy

Programming is the easy part. Coaching is everything.

01 — Diagnose

We see you before we train you.

Every new member goes through a 45-minute intake: injury history, training age, sleep, stress, goals. No two programs are identical — because no two humans are identical.

02 — Progression

Slow is smooth. Smooth is strong.

We don't chase intensity for the sake of intensity. Linear progression, autoregulation, and a deload every 4-6 weeks. We build athletes who train for decades, not weekends.

03 — Accountability

Your coach knows your name, your numbers, your last PR.

You will never be a number on a screen. Coaches review session notes, check in on missed days, and adjust programming weekly. We coach like it matters — because it does.

Step Inside

Your first session is on us.

Walk the floor. Meet a coach. See if Mygigaload is the room you train in. No pressure, no contracts, no upsell.
